John Westerfield spent the major part of his career with Morgan Stanley, beginning in 1985. There, he worked as Managing Director, performing tasks in several departments, including Investment Management, Fixed Income, and Investment Banking. He also became the Global Head of the Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities Group. Upon attainment of full career status at Morgan Stnalye, John Westerfield chose to leave the firm to pursue his interest in commercial real estate investment activities.
In his recreational time, John Westerfield enjoys playing golf, skiing, and sporting clays. At present, he resides in the city of Bronxville, New York, where he keeps involved with several local charitable organizations. Some of these include the Community Fund of Bronxville, Eastchester, Tuckahoe; the Reformed Church of Bronxville; and the Village of Bronxville Planning Board. John Westerfield also advises and makes monetary donations to the SkillsUSA Roosevelt High School Chapter. Currently, he supports several educational institutions, as well, including Dartmouth College, the Foundation for Educational Choice, and Student Sponsor Partners.
